Essential Oils Recipes:

Hot chocolate with Lavender Essential oil:


  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 2 drops of Vanilla flavour concentrate

  • 4 drops of Lavender essential oil

  • Extra lavender buds (optional, for garnish)


  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Be careful not to let it boil.

  2. Once the milk is simmering, reduce the heat to low and whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar until fully dissolved.

  3. After simmering, stir in the vanilla flavour and Lavender essential oil.

  4. Pour the lavender hot chocolate into mugs.

  5. Optionally, top each mug with whipped cream or marshmallows.

  6. Garnish with extra dried lavender buds, if desired.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy your soothing Lavender Hot Chocolate!

DIY essential oil blend to promote sleep:


  • 5 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil

  • 4 drops of Peppermint essential oil

  • 4 drops of Lavender essential oil

  • 1 oz (30 ml) carrier oil (such as jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, or fractionated coconut oil)


  1. Prepare a clean, empty glass bottle or essential oil roller bottle.

  2. Add the specified number of drops of each essential oil into the bottle in the order listed: 5 drops of Eucalyptus, 4 drops of Peppermint, and 4 drops of Lavender.

  3. Next, fill the rest of the bottle with your chosen carrier oil, leaving a small space at the top.

  4. Close the bottle tightly with its lid or rollerball top and shake gently to mix the oils together.

  5. To use, apply a small amount of the blend to your pulse points, such as wrists, temples, and neck, before bedtime.

  6. Alternatively, you can diffuse this blend in an essential oil diffuser in your bedroom about 30 minutes before going to sleep to create a calming atmosphere.

  7. Store the blend in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to preserve its potency.

Enjoy the soothing aroma of this essential oil blend as it helps relax your mind and body, promoting a restful night's sleep.

DIY recipe for cold and cough relief using essential oils:


  • 5 drops Frankincense essential oil

  • 4 drops Eucalyptus essential oil

  • 2 drops Peppermint essential oil

  • 1 oz (30 ml) carrier oil (such as coconut oil, almond oil, or olive oil)


  1. Mix the specified number of drops of each essential oil in a small, clean glass bottle.

  2. Add the carrier oil to the bottle, filling it up completely.

  3. Close the bottle tightly with its lid and shake gently to blend the oils together thoroughly.

  4. Apply a small amount of the mixture to your chest and throat area, gently massaging it into the skin.

  5. You can also rub a little on the bottoms of your feet.

  6. Alternatively, you can add a few drops of the blend to a bowl of steaming water and inhale the vapors to help clear congestion.

  7. Store the remaining mixture in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.

This blend combines the soothing properties of Frankincense with the respiratory benefits of Eucalyptus and Peppermint to provide relief from cold and cough symptoms. Remember to perform a patch test before applying the blend to ensure you don't have any adverse reactions.

Strawberry Chamomile Grapefruit Juice:

Servings: 4–6 | Time: 10 minutes active | Difficulty: Easy


  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) water

  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) honey

  • 2–3 drops Roman chamomile essential oil (you can substitute this with a citrus oil if desired)

  • Juice of 2 fresh grapefruits (about 12–16 oz.)

  • 1 lb. (450 g) fresh strawberries, sliced

  • Sparkling water

  • Crushed ice


  1. In a small saucepan, bring water and honey to boil and simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat, and allow to cool. Once cool, stir in the essential oil.

  2. Divide sliced strawberries and grapefruit juice among 4–6 glasses. Using the back of a spoon, gently press the strawberries against the side of the glass to help release their juice.

  3. Add 2–4 Tbsp. (30–60 ml) of the chamomile-honey syrup to each glass and stir in.

  4. Fill the remainder of each glass with crushed ice and sparkling water.

  5. Taste, and add more chamomile-honey syrup if desired.
