All of our flavours are food flavours and should be used for baking, cakes, deserts, drinks, Ice cream,...

Please also note, flavour concentrates are highly concentrated, it cannot be eaten or use directly , all the flavour concentrates in our website must be diluted prior to use!

Main function of Cooling agents:

1. Continuous and long lasting cooling and refreshing effect,having no hot ,harsh and stinging sensation of Menthol and/or Peppermint.
2. Heat-Resistance: Heating under 200℃ will not
reduce the cooling effect,suitable to use in basking and other high temperature heating process.
3. Its cooling intensity can maintain 15-30 minutes,enriching the refreshing of product and having no burning pain,stabbing and numbness ,it's cooler than traditional Menthol products.

4. Low dosage: 30-100mg/kg dosage will give good cooling effect.

Usage of Menthol and Cooling agent flavour concentrates:

1. Daily use product: Cooling Agent flavour concentrates is used in toothpaste,oral products,Air Freshener,skin cream,Cooling Agent is shaving cream,shampoo,sunscreen,shower cream.
2.Food products: Cooling Agent is used in confectionery products, chocolate,dairy produce,beer,Cooling Agent is distilled spirit,beverage,Chewing Gum.
3. Medicine: Cooling Agent is used in linctus,diminish,inflammation ointment,Cooling Agent is dyspepsia,antipruritic,liniment,oral cavity acesodyne,heatstroke pill.
4.Other: Cooling Agent is used in filter tip, tobacco, it also can be used in insectifuge.

 Main cooling agents/ additives:

1. Menthol.

Menthol is the strongest cooling agent, but it has a minty taste, so if you like that minty taste, then Menthol is your best option, there are few menthols in the market, and Capella Menthol and flavour West Extreme Ice are some of the best menthol flavour concentrates. Capella version is much weaker while Flavour West is very strong. In liquid DIY we have the best Menthol flavour concentrate, diluted at rate of 40%.

2. Koolada (WS-3).

Koolada gives an immediate cooling sensation near top and back of tongue, it does not have any minty taste but some people feel a chemical/cardboard /metallic notes from it.

3.WS-23.

WS-23 is the most popular cooling additives as it has the iciest effect without any other extra or any off-note tastes. WS-23 gives a cooling sensation at the front and back of the tongue. Overall cooling effect is slightly stronger than Koolada and it does not have any minty taste. The recommended percentage for WS-23 is 1-5%.

4. WS-5.

The WS-5 10% Cooling Agent is an advanced cooling agent that provides a strong cooling sensation to the back of the mouth and throat. It is the strongest coolant available .
